"Sir Gilbert said the other alphas agreed I should be put in a shelter so I would be "as normal as possible." He said that once I was adopted to find the other 8 people with powers so we could join forces, but I got lucky that one of them is right here," Foxy finished, smiling. "Wow! I had no idea! So...what's my power?" I asked eagerly. "Yours may be the most powerful out of the ten. It is mind creation! Think of anything and it is created in front of your eyes. When you used that this evening it helped to save me and Foxy!" Seashell said. "Oh yeahhh." I said. "We probably should get home. But first, let me ask why Mira (and Zios) always stays hidden like that? They created Jamaa, why aren't they helping to fight phantoms?
"Did you read in school that Mira created phantoms?" Foxy asked. "No! How..would she do that??" I asked. "Zios and Mira were having a fight. Afterwards Mira was so mad and upset that she cried very hard. Her tears anger mixed with the elements of Jamaa and created the wretched phantoms. She quiclkly realized her horrible mistake, but there was no way to undo it. So she quickly called some very important people to help fight the phantoms. She felt so bad for what she had done, so she decided to stay hidden. Forever."
"Aw, that's sad. I'm so glad I got to meet her," I said. "So, Foxy, are you basically an alpha-in-training?" "It's more complicated than that." she said. "I have defeated an amount of twenty phantoms, and am still on level one. You must make it to Level 10 to be just considered to be an alpha. To graduate from level one, I must defeat thirty phantoms, save at least 5 animals, and do 12 hours total being kind and helping people in Jamaa. Peck is helping me keep track of my requirements. I didn't realize it was that much work to become an Alpha. If I'm lucky it will take 2 years!"
I felt admiration for my new sister. I wanted to support her as much as I could. I wanted to use my powers up to my fullest potential. I decided that I would start the training to become an alpha too. "Lets get home," I smiled to my sister and Seashell.
When we got there we were greeted by my mom-in tears. "FOXY! SCARLET!!! WHERE IN JAMAA HAVE YOU TWO BEEN?! IT HAS BEEN AN HOUR! I WAS ABOUT TO CALL THE POLICE!!!" Foxy mouthed to me, "Remember-you can't tell her anything." "Mom, we were playing hide and seek in the house, you just couldn't find us. We didn't want to say anything so our hiding spots would be revealed! We went outside for the final round and met this otter, Seashell. Her parents unfortunately died. So can she stay with us?" She gave Mom puppy eyes. "I JUST TOOK YOU IN TO MY CARE AND YOU EXPECT ME TO-" She stopped as she saw tears streaming out of Seashell's eyes. "Oh, fine! I'm such a loser," I saw a hint of a smile on her face.
